The Deming Logging Show

The Deming Logging Show is a non-profit organization. The purpose is to help injured loggers and their families in times of need, by sending them a disability check. The money raised during events like the Deming Logging Show Weekend, Woodworking & Craft Show, Oktoberfest, and the  New Years Eve Dance,  goes to support those injured loggers and maintaining the Logging Show grounds.

In 1962, the first Deming Logging Show took place in a field outside of Deming. The need for the Deming Logging Show became apparent, when severely injured loggers needed help. Six years later, the Deming Logging Show moved a few miles to it's new grounds. From the help of many people over the years, the Deming Logging Show has become what it is today, a great organization.

Forty-three years later the Deming Logging Show is still going strong. There are more things to do and see today than in the past. From new events and logging exhibits, to machinery and logging trucks. Every year gets better and better. Recently the Deming Logging Show built an historical Blacksmith Exhibit. There are Blacksmith demonstrations throughout the Log Show weekend, so the visitors get see how it's done.
